Learning Objectives
- reading two or three sentences in your own way, with the adaptation of the intonation imposed by the punctuation marks (It is read in chain Salt in dishes, by Petre Ispirescu.);
- arranging sentences according to the logical order of the events in the fairy tale;
- oral formulation of the message / teaching from the fairy tale;
- dramatization using puppets.
Process
• the picnic moment is prepared and a discussion is held asking the children to remember what stories they have read before, then they are informed that the fairy tale Salt in dishes, by Petre Ispirescu will be read. • children read in their own way, two or three sentences, the reading being done in a chain, until the end of the fairy tale, the unknown words and expressions will be explained. The reading of the text must be followed by its commentary in a systematic and well-orchestrated manner. This develops critical thinking and makes learning more effective. For a deep understanding of the text, questions and answers are formulated, applying the Stellar Explosion method: the arrangement by numbering of the sentences, according to the logical order of the events in the read fairy tale: (the sentences are displayed on the board, the order is established and numbered) o The emperor asked his daughters how much they loved him. o The little girl said she loved him like salt in food. o Once upon a time there lived an emperor who had three daughters. o The emperor understood that he was wrong and apologized. o Wedding preparations have begun. o They all had a good time. o The little girl prepared salt-free dishes for her father. After the children have understood the content of the text, they are challenged to say their opinion about the characters (moment that prepares them for the second part of the activity-dramatization) - main characters / secondary characters; - positive characters / negative characters; The children will draw the main moments of the action, they will be divided into teams of two - the final product will be displayed in the classroom; Appreciations are made on the activity and the picnic is continued with songs and indoor games. On the second day, the activity of making the puppets and dramatizing the main moments of the fairy tale will take place. In order to make the puppets easier, the children will bring dolls from home that we can adapt to the characters in the story: - we will knit tails, we will sew dresses, we will make wreaths for the two emperors (as working material: cloth, paper ) and we will try to be artists on the class stage. The dramatization stage aims at the child's reaction to the content of the text. Students reflect on what they have read, understanding and interpreting better the ideational content of the text.
